Chengdu King-tiger Pharm-chem. Tech. Co., Ltd. was founded in 2007 by Dr. Jin Chen from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. We are one of the drafting organizations for the group standard Plant Extract — Astragalus Extract (T/CCCMHPIE 1.54-2021). Our company has obtained ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification issued by SGS (UKAS-accredited certification body).

We specialize in R&D, separation and purification of bio-active compounds from traditional Chinese medicine and natural plant herbs. Leveraging our self-developed core enzymatic cell-wall-breaking technology, we mainly focus on Astragalus extract series, as well as Gardenia jasminoides Ellis extract (Genipin). Our representative products include Astragaloside IV, Cycloastragenol, Calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside and Genipin.

We have built a modern R&D center in Tianfu International Biological Town, Chengdu, together with extraction and refining production workshops designed in compliance with GMP requirements. The R&D center is staffed with a highly-qualified technical team and equipped with advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC and UV, dedicated to developing new products and innovative processes. Our extraction and refining workshops realize large-scale manufacturing of our self-developed high-purity natural actives for global markets.

The new production workshop achieves an annual herbal processing capacity of up to 1,000 tons. It is fully equipped with complete production lines for raw-material pre-treatment, extraction, concentration, solvent extraction, column-chromatography separation, membrane separation, refrigeration, spray drying and vacuum drying. All products are manufactured under GMP-compliant conditions and strictly characterized by MS, NMR and HPLC for in-house quality control.

We maintain in-depth expertise in regulatory requirements for Astragalus extracts targeting North America, EU and Japan markets. Every year we commission globally-recognized third-party laboratories to conduct product testing. We consistently deliver premium-grade natural active raw materials to empower partners across dietary supplement, cosmetic and pharmaceutical R&D sectors.
